土のザラっとした手触りがありながら、表面は釉薬のすべすべとした感触で少し艶感のある仕上がり。
手作りの温もりが心地よい皿鉢です。

大きすぎず小さすぎず、色々な場面で活躍してくれそうです。
煮魚やお野菜の煮物、汁部分の多い煮込み料理やサラダなどに良さそうです。
和にも洋にも。
裏には関太一郎さんの"太”の文字が。

関太一郎さんの器は整った美しい形、シンプルながらも確かな存在感を感じます。
そして美しい色がお料理・飲み物などを引き立ててくれます。
どれもとても手に馴染みやすく、日常使いもしやすい器です。

カタチや色合いは個体差があります。
鉄飛びシリーズでは黒点が縁に当たることで欠けたように見えるものがありますが欠けではありませんのでご了承ください。
発送はおまかせとさせていただきます。
染み止め処理をしているため米のとぎ汁での煮沸は必要ありません。
ただそれでも陶器ですので、使う前に水を染み込ませておけば貫入に汚れが染みにくくなります。また保存容器としては使わず、使用後はなるべく早く洗うようにしてください。
オーブン、直火、食洗機　NG
温め直し(1分程度）は電子レンジ　OK
※ご使用後は十分に乾燥させてから収納してください。

This shallow bowl combines the natural texture of the clay with a smooth, glazed finish and a subtle sheen. The contrast between the earthy clay and the softly lustrous glaze gives the piece a warm, handcrafted character.
Its versatile size makes it suitable for a wide variety of dishes. Ideal for simmered fish, braised vegetables, stews with plenty of broth, or fresh salads, this piece complements both Japanese and Western-style cuisine. The underside is stamped with the kanji "太" (Ta), the artist's signature mark.
Taichiro Seki's ceramics are known for their refined forms, understated elegance, and quiet presence. The beautiful glaze enhances the colors of food and beverages, while the well-balanced design fits comfortably in the hand, making each piece ideal for everyday use.
Care Instructions
As each piece is handmade, slight variations in shape and glaze are to be expected. Selection will be made at our discretion.
The pottery has been sealed to help resist staining, so there is no need to boil it in rice-washing water before first use.
As with all earthenware, soaking the piece in clean water before use can help reduce staining in the fine crackle (crazing) of the glaze.
Do not use it as a food storage container. Please wash it promptly after use.
Not suitable for: oven, direct flame, or dishwasher.
Microwave: Suitable for reheating only (about 1 minute).
Please allow the piece to dry thoroughly before storing.

Established his own studio in Kurabuchi, Takasaki, Gunma (2012)
Relocated his studio to Fujimi, Maebashi, Gunma (2017)
