とても素朴な伊羅保の平茶碗です。
伊羅保とは力強く野性味のある「いらいら」「いぼいぼ」とした景色が現れていることから「伊羅保」と呼ばれるようになったといわれています。
縁に白色があしらわれており、アクセントになっています。
素朴さゆえ、シンプルなお料理も引き立ててくれそうです。

関太一郎さんの器はとても手に馴染みやすく、日常使いもしやすい器です。
美しい色がお料理・飲み物などを引き立ててくれます。

発送はおまかせとさせていただきます。

染み止め処理をしているため米のとぎ汁での煮沸は必要ありません。
ただそれでも陶器ですので、使う前に水を染み込ませておけば貫入に汚れが染みにくくなります。また保存容器としては使わず、使用後はなるべく早く洗うようにしてください。

This handcrafted shallow bowl features a beautifully rustic Irabo glaze, prized for its warm, earthy character and naturally textured surface. The name Irabo is believed to derive from the distinctive rough, organic texture of the glaze, which conveys a sense of strength and natural beauty.
A delicate white accent around the rim provides a subtle contrast, adding a refined finishing touch while highlighting the bowl's rustic charm. Its understated design allows even the simplest dishes to stand out beautifully.
Like all of Taichiro Seki's pottery, this bowl is designed to feel comfortable in the hand and to be enjoyed in everyday life. The beautiful glaze enhances the presentation of both food and beverages while offering exceptional practicality for daily use.
Because each piece is handmade, slight variations in shape, glaze, and color are part of its unique character. Items will be selected at random.
Care Instructions
This bowl has been treated with a stain-resistant seal, so there is no need to boil it in rice-rinsing water before first use.
As with all earthenware, soaking the bowl in clean water for a few minutes before use can help prevent stains from penetrating the fine crackle (crazing) of the glaze.
Do not use it as a food storage container, and wash it promptly after use.
Allow the bowl to dry completely before storing.

Microwave: Suitable for reheating for approximately 1 minute.
Artist Profile – Taichiro Seki (Renge Kiln)
Born in 1980 in Maebashi, Gunma Prefecture, Japan.
Graduated from Maebashi Commercial High School in 1998.
Graduated from Ota College of Information and Business in 2001.
Completed the Advanced Ceramics Program at Seto Ceramic High School, Aichi Prefecture, in 2007.
Served as an instructor at Ryusen Kiln Pottery Studio in Tokyo (2007–2012).
Taught pottery classes at the Taito City Kotobuki Senior Welfare Center (2011–2012).
Established his own studio in Kurabuchi, Takasaki, Gunma Prefecture, in 2012.
Relocated to Fujimi, Maebashi, Gunma Prefecture, in 2017.
Founded the Renge Kiln Pottery Studio.
