やわらかなベージュがかった薄いグレーのお皿です。
触感はつるつるとして滑らか。
大きさとしては、副菜やサラダ、パン皿、デザート皿としても便利そうな大きさ。
いくつかの豆皿と合わせて、メインディッシュ皿として使っても良さそうですし、
モーニングのサンドイッチをのせてもおしゃれ。

大竹こずえさんの器はひとつずつ、その時のインスピレーションを大切に制作されているとのことです。
そしてその色は"何色"と表現し難い繊細な色合わせでとても美しい色ばかりです。
ご本人曰く、少しずつ色々な色で製作したのですが気が付けば日本の伝統的な色ばかりになっていたとのこと。
さあ今日は何を盛り付けようか・・・そんなわくわくをくれる器です。

This beautifully handcrafted plate features a soft, warm gray glaze with subtle beige undertones, creating a calm and sophisticated look. Its smooth, silky surface feels wonderful to the touch and reflects the quiet elegance of handmade pottery.

Each piece by Coz. (Kozue Otake) is created with the artist's inspiration in mind, making every work unique. Her glazes are known for their delicate, nuanced tones—colors that are difficult to define with a single name yet are unmistakably beautiful. According to the artist, although she experimented with a variety of colors, she eventually realized they naturally evolved into shades inspired by the traditional colors of Japan.
This is a plate that invites creativity and makes you look forward to deciding what to serve each day.
Artist Profile – Coz. (Kozue Otake)
Born in 1977 in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan.
Graduated from the Department of Design, Tokyo University of the Arts, in 2001.
Began working with ceramics in 2017.
Studied under ceramic artist Yoshinori Takemura.
