マットな白色、スベスベとした手触りの小付です。
大きめのお皿や木のトレイ、竹カゴなどにいくつか豆皿を合わせて楽しんでも素敵ですね。
和物やお漬物など、お料理を引き立ててくれそうです。

大竹こずえさんの器はひとつずつ、その時のインスピレーションを大切に制作されているとのことです。
そしてその色は"何色"と表現し難い繊細な色合わせでとても美しい色ばかりです。
ご本人曰く、少しずつ色々な色で製作したのですが気が付けば日本の伝統的な色ばかりになっていたとのこと。
さあ今日は何を盛り付けようか・・・そんなわくわくをくれる器です。

This elegant kobachi (small side dish bowl) features a soft matte white glaze and an exceptionally smooth, silky finish that feels wonderful in the hand. Its clean, understated design makes it a versatile piece for both everyday dining and special occasions.
Ideal for serving Japanese side dishes, pickles, appetizers, condiments, or small desserts, this bowl also pairs beautifully with larger serving plates, wooden trays, or woven bamboo baskets to create an artfully layered table setting. Its simple form allows the colors and textures of your food to take center stage.
Each piece by ceramic artist Kozue Otake (coz.) is created with inspiration from the moment, making every vessel unique. Her signature glazes are composed of subtle, layered tones that are difficult to define with a single color, resulting in beautifully nuanced finishes.
According to the artist, although she experimented with many different color combinations, she eventually realized that her work naturally gravitated toward the timeless hues found in traditional Japanese color palettes.
A piece like this invites a simple question each day: What shall I serve today?
About the Artist – Kozue Otake (coz.)
Born in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan (1977)
Graduated from the Department of Design, Tokyo University of the Arts (2001)
Began working in ceramics in 2017
Studied under ceramic artist Yoshinori Takemura
